A River's Journey

Headquartered at the North Lakeland Discovery Center, this series of paddling adventures spans the Manitowish River from its headwaters to the Highway 47 bridge. The fourth leg of the journey is a 7-mile pontoon cruise with a start out on Rest Lake. This leisurely trip is comprised of a series of large lake crossings through the Manitowish Chan of Lakes. We'll look for eagle and loon pairs, view the historic boathouses and beautiful homes and enjoy a little history about the Chain's formation then and now. A River's Journey

Headquartered at the North Lakeland Discovery Center, this series of paddling adventures spans the Manitowish River from its headwaters to the Highway 47 bridge. White Deer Triathlon

Headquartered in Boulder Junction, this Triathlon includes 3 kilometers of kayaking, canoeing or stand-up paddleboarding on Boulder Lake, a 23 kilometer bike ride along scenic roads and a 6.5 kilometer run along rustic roads and wooded trails ending at the Boulder Junction Community Center. First of five events in the 2015 Northwoods of Wisconsin Tri-Master Series (White Deer (Boulder Junction), Just Tri It (Manitowish Waters), See Me Tri Minocqua), the W.I.L.D Hog Mini Tri (Rhinelandear and the Wolfman (White Lake) Triathlons).
