Madeline Lake Trail
Offers a variety of beautiful scenery winding around three lakes. A shelter with a fire ring is provided. This designated mountain bike trail and tracked cross-country ski trail requires a Wisconsin State Trail Pass. *Pets not allowed when there is snow or on groomed trails.Length:Various loops offer trails of 3.0, 3.5, 4.5 and 5.5 miles Location:Take Hwy 47 east of Woodruff, turn east on Hwy J. Minocqua Winter Park
Minocqua Winter Park is one of the most popular Nordic Center’s in the Midwest. 80+ kilometers (about 50 miles) of trails are impeccably groomed by an experienced staff using state of the art equipment including a new Pisten Bully groomer! 10,000 visitors come to the park each season to cross-country ski, and snowshoe amid the solitude and beauty of 6,500 acres of wilderness area.
Length:Various loops from 1km to 11km Location:Take Hwy 51 to Hwy 70 West – turn left for 6.8miles to a left on Squirrel Lk. Rd. Go 4.5 miles to Scotchman Lake Rd and follow the signs into the park. Click here for a printable map (pdf).
A mix of intermediate and expert loops wind through woods and near Inkpot and Clear Lakes. Bicycles and pets are not allowed on the Nature Trail Loop. Leashed pets allowed only when there is no snow. The designated Nature Trail and the tracked cross-country ski trail require Wisconsin State Trail Passes.
