Boulder Junction Winter Park (featuring The Glide)
There’s lots of winter fun to be had at this park just east of downtown Boulder Junction. Ice skaters will enjoy The Glide, a new ice-skating ribbon that makes a 0.8-mile loop around the park through the Northern Highland-American Legion State Forest. There is also a sledding hill, an ice skating rink equipped with lights, and warming hut at the park, complete with complimentary ice skates. Hikers can trek the one-mile loop in the warmer months and pets on leash are welcome.
