Discover Historic Traditions and Mysteries of Alder and Wild Rice Lakes by Water

Join Manitowish Waters Historical Society members on a two-hour pontoon tour of Alder and Wild Rice Lakes. This trip will depart from Alder Lake and explore the rich histories of these lakes with a wealth of historic images. Discover the Native American trail networks, unique canal systems that linked the MW chain to Lac Du Flambeau, all phases of the logging era, a railroad spur landing, homesteads, early resorts, and businesses. Limited space, so please register by July 22nd. Directions to the launch site will be sent to registered participants prior to the trip.
