Held at the North Lakeland Discovery Center, come learn about the Count.  Members of the Center’s Bird Club will introduce you to methods used in the count, teach you how to identify common winter birds and get you set up for entering your data only.  There will be a bird banding demonstration offering opportunities to experience birds up close.  Both the open house and banding demonstration are free and designed for all ages.
