Join Wisconsin Master Naturalist Ron Krueger at the Van Vliet Hemlock SNA for a hike among the ferns and other unusual members of our native plant community. This area, with its interesting geologic past, has some of the most diverse species of ferns in this area. Your expedition will include searching for all the different species this unique location has to offer. This opportunity is sponsored by the Friends of Van Vliet Hemlocks and is open to the public at no cost. Register by September 10th. Registered participants should meet at the East Trailhead at 1 pm.
