Fishing the Deerskin
Published: April 18, 2016Some of the best memories I have (going all the way back to early childhood) have been in Vilas County and in particular in and around the Phelps area. Fishing the Deerskin for a few trout is always a wonderful way to reflect on and recall earlier memories as well a wonderful way to take in the beautiful, peaceful environment that is the Northwoods. If a few trout are caught (which is usually the case), it’s just an added bonus.
