No better way to end the day
Published: June 25, 2021My grandparents took me up to this special Vilas County lake every summer. I almost feel like I grew up there from the age of 4 until I was about 16 when I started working. Aside from one trip with my grandparents when I was around 20, about 25 years had passed since I was last at this beautiful lake. Then I was blessed with the opportunity to return to the same cabin all these years later. The memories that were made at this lake and in Boulder Junction and Land O’ Lakes are etched in my mind forever. The sunsets that I have seen on the lake over all those years have been nothing short of amazing. I am so grateful to be able to retrace my young footsteps at this place. Without a doubt, my favorite place on Earth.
