CONTEST PERIOD: The giveaway begins on March 18, 2016 @ 12:00pm (CST) and ends on May 6, 2016 @ 12:00pm (CST).

HOW TO ENTER: You can enter the sweepstakes by visiting the Vilas County web site, vilas.org/moments and following the on-screen instructions by providing all of the required information.

Limit one entry per person/per email. No mechanically reproduced entries of any kind permitted. Incomplete entries are void. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected entries or entries not received. In the event of a dispute over who submitted an online entry, the entry will be deemed to have been submitted by the authorized account holder of the e-mail account identified on the online entry form. The authorized account holder is deemed to be the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, service provider, or online organization responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address.

RANDOM DRAWING: One (1) grand-prize winner will be selected at random on or before May 30, 2016, from all eligible entries received. Decisions of Sponsor are final on all matters. Winner will be notified by e-mail only and have three (3) business days from the date of notification to respond. If there is no response within the required time period, an alternate potential prize winner will be selected and notified. Odds of winning will depend upon the number of eligible entries received.

Prize consists of only those items specifically listed as part of the prize. No substitution or transfer/assignment of prize by winners permitted. Fulfillment of prizes may take up to 30 business days after the winners are notified.

Vilas County Tourism & Publicity, Vilas County government, its employees, agents and elected officials (collectively herein after referred to as “Vilas County”) are not liable for any losses, injuries or damages of any kind resulting from acceptance of and/or participation in giveaway. Acceptance of any prize constitutes permission to Vilas County Tourism & Publicity to use winner’s name, voice, statements, image, and likeness for purposes of advertising and trade, in any medium without further compensation, unless prohibited by law.

IMAGE ELIGIBILITY: Image files must be submitted in digital format and publishing of photos to vilaswi.com is at the Sponsor’s discretion. Only online entries submitted through the website will be eligible. No print or film submissions will be accepted for entry into this contest. Scanned image files are acceptable.

Photographs must display an image taken in Vilas County. Photographs are eligible regardless of when they were taken (a photograph taken in 2008 is eligible to win, for instance). All submissions, including editing, must be a single work of original material created by the contestant. By entering the Contest, the contestant acknowledges that the submitted content is an original work created solely by the contestant, that the photograph does not infringe on the copyrights, trademarks, moral rights, rights of privacy/publicity or intellectual property rights of any person or entity, and that no other party has any right, title, claim, or interest in the photograph.

The photograph must not contain, as determined solely by the Sponsor, obscene, provocative, defamatory, sexually explicit, or otherwise objectionable or inappropriate content.

RELEASES: If the photograph contains any material or elements that are not owned by the entrant and/or which are subject to the rights of third parties, and/or if any persons appear in the photograph, the entrant is responsible for obtaining, prior to submission of the photograph, any and all releases and consents necessary to permit the exhibition and use of the photograph in the manner set forth in these Official Rules without additional compensation. If any person appearing in any photograph is under the age of majority in their state/province/territory of residence the signature of a parent or legal guardian is required on each release. Upon Sponsor’s request, each entrant must be prepared to provide (within thirty (30) calendar days of receipt of Sponsor’s request) a signed release from all persons who appear in the photograph submitted, and/or from the owner of any material that appears in the photograph entry, authorizing Sponsor and its licensees (“Authorized Parties”) to reproduce, distribute, display, and create derivative works of the entry in connection with the Contest and promotion of the Contest, in any media now or hereafter known. Failure to provide such releases upon request may result in disqualification at any time during the Contest and selection of an alternate winner. All releases must be in the form provided by Sponsor (contact Sponsor for form). The Photo Release is incorporated in the contest entry form by reference.

For the purposes of these Official Rules, the entrant will be deemed to be in receipt of Sponsor’s request or notification, (a) in the event that Sponsor sends the request by postal mail, five business days after the request was sent by Sponsor, or (b) in the event that Sponsor sends the request by email, on the day that the email was sent by Sponsor.

TERMS: Sponsor not responsible for any typographical or other errors in the offering or the announcement of any prize or in the administration of the giveaway, whether caused by computer, technical or human error. Winners assume all liability and agree to release and hold Sponsor harmless for any injury or damage caused, or claimed to be caused, by participation in this giveaway or acceptance, use or redemption of any prize received in this giveaway. Sponsor is not responsible for late, lost, damaged, incomplete, illegible, faulty, or incorrect transmissions, incorrect announcements of any kind, technical hardware or software failures of any kind, any damage to any person’s computer related to or resulting from participating in the online portion of the giveaway, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incomplete, garbled or delayed computer transmission that may limit a user’s ability to participate in the giveaway whether caused by computer, technical or human error. All terms of giveaway shall be construed according to, and any disputes shall be subject to, the laws of the State of Wisconsin. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel or modify the giveaway for any reason, including but not limited to, if fraud, misconduct or technical failures destroy the integrity of the giveaway; or if a computer virus, bug, wireless failure, or other technical problem corrupts the administration, security, or proper administration of the giveaway as determined by Sponsor, in its sole discretion. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify, freeze or prohibit the participation of an individual if fraud or tampering is suspected, or if the individual fails to comply with any requirement of participation or with any provision in these Official Rules.

IN NO EVENT WILL VILAS COUNTY OR VILAS COUNTY TOURISM & PUBLICITY BE LIABLE FOR ANY INJURY, DAMAGES OR LOSSES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF PARTICIPATION IN THIS GIVEAWAY CONTEST OR THE RECEIPT AND/OR USE OF THE PRIZE PACKAGE ASSOCIATED WITH THIS GIVEAWAY. THE PRIZE PACKAGE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OR GUARANTEE OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
