If you’ve never floated down the Wisconsin River, you need to head to Wildwood Outdoor Adventures. They make adventures on the water easy and fun. The friendly staff offers private river trips and shuttles for canoeing, kayaking and tubing, as well as pick-up or delivery on daily and multi-day rentals for water tubes, kayaks, canoes and stand-up paddleboards. Need a place to stay? Wildwood also operates a campground on the Eagle River Chain of Lakes.
For more than five decades, the Chain Skimmers have been entertaining Northwoods crowds with their amazing waterski performances. Grab a seat on the shore of Lake Pleasant in Conover to take in the action, which includes tricks, jumps, flips and other incredible waterskiing stunts. The skiers perform throughout the summer: Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday evenings at 7pm.
